Gradings

Kyu (coloured belt) gradings are held every 3 - 4 months at the instructors discretion. The grading structure is based on students attending two karate classes per week and training at these classes with an attitude of ‘purposeful practice’. TSKC offer frequent extra training sessions on Sunday mornings giving students the chance to improve at a faster rate and also as an opportunity to make up for any regular sessions missed. The instructors will advise the students to grade based on attendance, level of ability and attitude to training. There is no automatic right to grade and eligibility to grade does not guarantee a pass.
